housing four men with mild mental retardation, an Intermediate
Care Facility (ICF) for medically frail infants, or a group
home for geriatric consumers, each of Women's League's residences
shares the same basic traits: A dedicated and loving team of
direct care professionals, psychologists, social workers, nurses,
nutritionists, and therapists; state-of-the-art modern facilities;
and the warm, family environment that makes its houses into
homes.
Women's
League Community Residences currently operates over twenty residential
programs, each catering to specific social, psychological, therapeutic,
and medical needs of its residents, and each promoting the Women's
League philosophy of respect and inclusion for all consumers,
neighbors, family, and friends with mental retardation and developmental
disabilities.
